Date Rape / Sexual Assault
For some young people, someone has tried to steal the gift of their virginity. This is a devastating experience.
We call this many things, including:

(When an adult or older adolescent is sexually inappropriate with a child) - Incest
(When someone has sexual contact with a member of his or own family)
If this has happened to you, you may feel ashamed or dirty, confused, worthless, or even responsible for what happened, even though you know you were in no way to blame. You may feel like "damaged goods" and that you can’t relate to words like purity, chastity or virginity. It might seem like sex is the best way to have that feeling of love you’re longing for.
