Lust at First Sight

Giving in to our hormones at the drop of a hat is not romantic, it is being selfish.

And while it may look spontaneous and exciting in the movies, using another person for sexual pleasure is not cool—it's lust—which is the opposite of true love.

You'd be surprised what most romantic couples realize in real life: that you don't need to get physically intimate to be romantic. They know that romance requires respect.

Sure, you can have lust and passion without respect, as in casual sexual relationships or prostitution, but you cannot have true, lasting romance without respect.

A true romantic expresses love for love's sake, not for what he or she gets in return.

Everyone knows that being genuinely loved is much more exciting than being used.
